Tech / Minimal is seeing somewhat of a revival so probably timely i put out a release of that nature out into the world. Not really reinventing the wheel with this release - but sometimes it's nice to indulge in the revival of a genre close to my heart. Although with RA putting out a video about tech-house that's potentially an omen for the death of the revival.

After watching that Adam Curtis doco i keep thinking everything is a conspiracy / psy-op. In particular the revival of niche electronic genres. It made me think is 'cool' independent dance music just clinging for a past that has come and gone - just like some people cling to classic rock. Is glitch-hop / electro swing the genre that is pushing creative boundaries ? Should i start stretching my ears? Should I get a mandala tattoo?

This release goes out to all those who have fallen victim of the psy-op that is niche 00's dance music revivals. On this release 'Mittens' asks the question when is 'electro-swing coming back?' and follows up with 'did it ever leave?'.

Just to clarify this is not an electro swing release :-)
